Our student body comprises over 70 different nationalities, with British students making up around 12% of the total.
ACS has 30 years' experience teaching the International Baccalaureate (IB), and all our schools offer the full IB Diploma for students aged 16 to 18. In addition, ACS Hillingdon offers the IB Middle Years Programme (for students aged 11 to 16) while ACS Egham is one of only three schools in the UK to offer the full range of IB curricula, including the Primary Years Programme (for students aged 3 to 11).
Our outstanding IB exam results place ACS among the top independent schools in the UK and enable our students to attend the world's leading universities. In 2009 our combined IB Diploma pass rate of 97% and our average score of 33 points (equivalent to over 3 A*s at A level) clearly surpassed the international average pass rate and score of 79% and 29.5 points respectively.
ACS Cobham
Situated on a 128-acre campus in Surrey, ACS Cobham enrols 1,300 day and boarding students.
Exceptional facilities include an Early Childhood village; purpose-built Lower, Middle, and High School buildings; gymnasium and cafeteria complex and a dormitory. All Lower, Middle and High School buildings have separate classrooms, science labs, libraries, computer labs, art and music studios and a state-of-the-art Interactive Learning Centre.
Outstanding Sports facilities include six tennis courts, an Olympic-sized track, playing fields for football, rugby and baseball, a six-hole golf course, and a state-of-the-art Sports Centre with 25-metre competition indoor swimming pool, basketball/volleyball show courts, dance and fitness studios, and a cafe.
ACS Hillingdon
The campus is situated on an 11-acre estate less than 15 miles from Central London. A door-to-door busing service covers much of London and Buckinghamshire.
ACS Hillingdon enrols over 550 students aged between 4 and 18. The campus combines a Grade II listed stately mansion with a modern wing housing computer labs, libraries, cafeteria, gymnasium, auditorium, and the Harmony House Centre for international music which houses a digital recording studio, rehearsal rooms, practice studios and a computer lab for music technology.
The campus has on-site playing fields, tennis courts and playgrounds, and off-site playing fields for football, rugby and athletics. ACS Hillingdon also offers extensive and varied extracurricular clubs and community service activities both locally and internationally. Students also participate in theatre arts programmes, maths, literature and music competitions in the UK and across Europe.
ACS Egham
Situated on a 20-acre campus in Surrey, ACS Egham enrols around 550 students. The school has purpose-built computer labs, libraries, spacious classrooms, playgrounds and sports fields. A new 21st century Visual Arts & Design Technology Centre has recently been opened, as well as a new Science facility.
ACS Egham runs small class sizes which afford a greater opportunity for individual attention and support for various learning styles so that students are encouraged and challenged accordingly. Child Study Teams meet with a students teachers, administrators and parents, to ensure that every child is appropriately challenged and supported.
The Campus sports programme runs three seasons fielding teams in football, volleyball, cross-country, basketball, rugby, swimming, dance, tennis, track & field, baseball, softball and golf.
