We know that choosing the right school for your child can be of the most important and complex decisions you need to make for your child’s future. 5 years ago, we launched the Independent School Show to make life easier for busy parents faced with such decisions. We did this by gathering the country's leading schools and expert educationalists in one place.

The 2012 show will be the biggest and best show yet and is now hosted at the fantastic Battersea Evolution Centre in South West London.

• What criteria are used to determine student placement in classes?
• Does this school offer broad and balanced timetable?
• What are academic achievements of this school? Which senior schools/ universities do their students join after they leave the school?
• Does this school offer support for children with special needs?
• How are academically bright pupils stretched?
• Does this school offer weekly and flexible boarding and what percentage of pupils remains at the weekend?
• What extra curriculum activities are available after school and at the weekends?
• What is the disciplinary policy of the school and how are such problems as bulling tackled?

This year we have even more attractions for children at the show. Ripley’s Believe It or Not! will be exhibiting the world’s smallest car and the Sharky and George team will be providing a variety of activities for children of all ages.

Also featuring is the Education Zone, which is another fun place for the kids to play and learn and gives parents an opportunity to have a break and enjoy the show.
